Teaching
I started working in the Department of Sociology, Faculty of Philosophy, University of Novi Sad in 2008. First as a Teaching Assistant, from 2016 as Assistant Professor and from 2021 as Associate Professor. I teach Urban Sociology, Environmental Sociology and Sociology of Gender, from MA to the PhD level.
I also served as a Director of the Faculty Center for Sociological Research 2018-2021, a member of the Faculty Ethics Committee and a member of the first working group for preventing sexual harassment, violence and abuse at the Faculty.
In November 2019 I served as a Chair of the scientific board of the international conference Post-socialist transformation of the city held at the University of Novi Sad, Serbia. I organized this conference in honour of my late PhD supervisor, Ljubinko Pušić who was one of the first scholars to recognize destructive urban trends in post-socialist Serbia and a source of my lifelong professional inspiration. The Conference gathered 40 participants from 10 countries. The book of abstracts is available here.
